Welcome to Spring Creek Ranch, home of Docs Major Risk, 2001 dun tobiano stallion (APHA & PtHA) We are a small operation in southwest Minnesota. We farm small grain and raise a "all-around" paint and pinto horses. Tracey is also a local veterinarian in nearby Marshall, MN.
We raise a few foals every year out of our resident mares by our stallion "Major", we also breed him to a few outside mares. Our goal is to raise affordable, level-headed, sound and of course, colorful, horses. We do this through a combination of pleasure and cow horse bloodlines which include Doc Bar, Sonny Dee Bar, Boston Mac, Zan Par Barr, Poco Bueno, Hustlers Ole Man, Scotch Bar Time and more. Our stock are quite versatile and have been shown in events such as dressage, jumping, barrel racing, western pleasure, halter, trail, reining and more. More important to us than showing, we ride our horses for companionship and entertainment.... a quiet ride down the gravel road or a quick gallop across the bean stubble. |
